William R. Grace, D.O.
Dr. Grace started his medical career by earning his Bachelor of Science and Physician’s Assistant Degree from Mercy College of Detroit. He earned his Doctorate of Medicine Degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Michigan State University, where he was accepted into their accelerated program and was a member of Iota Chapter of Sigma Sigma Phi Society. He completed his post-graduate training in Flint, Michigan at Flint Osteopathic Hospital, Hurley Medical Center, and McClaren General Hospital.

Dr. Grace has been Board Certified as a Physician by the National Board of Medical Examiners, certified by the State Board of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery, a Diplomate of the National Board of Examiners for Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, Board Certified through the American College of Family Practitioners in Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery, and Board Certified through the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians, where he has the status of Fellow.

His work experience includes five years working as a Physician’s Assistant with a Family Practice unit in Escanaba, Michigan at Doctor’s Park and has been a physician at Family Practice of Cadillac, PC since 1984.

He is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Practitioners, American Osteopathic Association, the Michigan Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, the Michigan Association of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and Wexford-Missaukee County Medical Society. His staff appointments include being an active member of Mercy Hospital of Cadillac.

In addition, he is active in training medical students and is a faculty member at Michigan State University in the College of Osteopathic Medicine as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Family and Community Medicine, and Assistant Clinical Professor at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in the Department of Family and Community Medicine. He is as well a Clinical Faculty Member Instructor at the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Wayne State University School of Medicine, and Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Personally he enjoys hunting and golf. He is married and has two children and one grandson, Connor.
