Board certified by the American College of Internal Medicine in 2006 and by the American College of Pediatricians in 2007, Dr. Mahan received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, Chicago, IL. She was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society upon graduation from Stitch. She completed her residency at Loyola University Medical Center.

Dr. Mahan practiced medicine as an internal medicine and pediatrics hospitalist for two years at Loyola University Medical Center. Her special interests include women’s health, underserved medicine, and chronic childhood diseases. Dr. Mahan is on staff at Mercy Hospital of Cadillac.

She is married and has two daughters. She enjoys sports, travel, and spending time with her family.
