David M. Mutch, D.O.
Board Certified by the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians in 1996 and the State Board of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in 1981, Dr. Mutch graduated Magna Cum Laude from Alma College. He was Salutatorian and recipient of the Stewart Scholarship Award while attending medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. His internship was completed at Metropolitan Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Dr. Mutch’s work experience has included Dialysis Technician at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Physician with Evart Medical Associates in Evart, Michigan, current general and family practice positions with the Family Practice of Cadillac and being on active staff with Mercy Hospital of Cadillac. His staff appointments include Past Chief of Staff and Past Board of Trustees, Reed City Hospital and Board of Regents, Baker College of Cadillac. Professional association memberships include American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, American Osteopathic Association, Michigan Association of Osteopathic Physicians & Surgeons, Wexford-Missaukee Medical Society, and Board of Wexford-Mercy PHO. He has been Preceptor for Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Mutch resides in Cadillac with his wife Linda. They have two grown children. He enjoys travel, cross country skiing, kayaking, and gardening. He and his wife are members of Zion Lutheran Church.
